Their UOBAM Invest online portal was first launched in 2018 for corporate investors, but now, you don’t have to be a business owner or corporate owner to use UOBAM invest.
So how does the UOBAM invest works for me?
Before the UOBAM algorithm can recommend you a portfolio, the application would require you fill out a few forms, which is very similar with most robo advisors out there. The forms simply ask you on your financial goals, investment time horizons and also lastly a risk assessment on yourself.
Using your inputs given in the form, the roboadvisor will suggest you an investment portfolio and you can then tailor according to your risk tolerance level.
Funding your portfolio can be done via PayNow, FAST, or bill payment (if you have a UOB account).
For subsequent portfolio rebalancing, it can occur automatically with a pre defined input from you at the start, and when you’ve reached a certain threshold, the UOBAM invest will inform you.
